Dakoda’s Dance Academy is a well established dance school that has been providing dance classes to the central London community for the last 10 years. Situated in Knightsbridge, we hold most of our dance classes within More House school, Pont street SW1X 0AA
Starting 10 years ago with just Ballet and tap classes with a few student, we now teach over 26 classes in 10 disciplines. These include RAD Ballet, Tap & Jazz, Hip-Hop, Street Dance and many more to children aged 2-16 years.
For those not able to attend the school we offer a comprehensive list of private tutors who can teach in your home or venue of your choice.
A Little Bit Of Legal Text
All students must have a parent/guardian fill out our on-line application form before starting classes.
It is the Parents responsibility to be aware of Dakoda’s Dance Academy fees and school policies such as watching days, exam dates, when DDA is open & closed.
DDA will post all such information on the DDA website as well as emailing newsletters each term. It is the parents responsibility to regularly check the website and ensure they are kept informed.
Regulation uniform must be worn to all classes- please check our ‘Dance Styles’ page for details. For safety reasons, no jewellery is allowed. Hair should be in a bun for all ballet classes 5 years +.
Dakoda’s Dance Academy is not responsible for before or after care of students. Students should arrive 10-15 mins before their class and picked up promptly after.
Fees are payable per term and should be paid promptly before the start of the term. The total terms fees will vary slightly each term dependent on how many classes we can hold in each term.
Late fees (fees unpaid before the students third lesson) are subject to a £25.00 “late fee”
Single trial classes are only available to new students.
An annual registration fee (non-refundable) per family, is required upon joining the Academy.
Fees are non-refundable except in cases of injury or extreme circumstances and at the discretion of the Director.
Drop in Classes are at the discretion of the Director.
