DAKODA’S DANCE ACADEMY – FEES

I have chosen to have my child / children participate in classes given by DDA .

I / we acknowledge that I understand the nature of the activities my child will be participating in and that despite precautions, accidents and/or physical injury may occur.

I / we agree to release and hold harmless DDA. including its teachers, and staff members from any cause of action, claims, or demands now and in the future.

I / we will not hold DDA. liable for any personal injury or any personal property damage or loss, which may occur on the premises before, during or after classes or which may occur at any DDA. sponsored event outside the studio.

I / we have informed DDA of any special medical problems that my child has and our family doctor approves of their participation in DDA classes in spite of these medical problems.

Under Article 24 of the GDPR, DDA will not use any of your data other than to contact you regarding lesson changes, fees,

performances, exams etc. We will not divulge your data with any other parties.

Should you wish to join Dakoda’s Dance Academy after your single trial class fees for the remainder of the term will be due prior to you 2nd class. Fees are pro-rata from joining date.

I understand that there is a £25 family annual registration fee payable upon joining DDA on the 2nd class.

I agree to pay a late fee of £25.00 if my fees are received after the 3rd class of each term.

I agree to pay fees on a termly basis – 2 weeks before the start of each term.

In the event of a D.D.A. venue becoming unavailable, we will endeavour to source an alternative venue within the surrounding area, or move the day/time of our classes.

If for any reason, we are unable to deliver our classes in the D.D.A. venue, we will be offering replacement classes delivered via an online platform such as Zoom where available.

I understand there are no refunds for classes cancelled due to Covid-19 & that any classes cancelled will be replaced with online Zoom classes.

I understand that students who are enrolled in In-Studio classes should be prepared to transition to Zoom or a hybrid model at any point during the term, should regulations dictate. The Zoom class schedule is identical to the In-Studio schedule, and there will be no tuition adjustments, credits or refunds.

I understand there are no refunds for absences, but make up classes may be possible in some instances at the discretion of the director or class instructor. As a general rule, there are no more than two makeup classes per term; however, there are some classes with no comparable substitutions. Makeup classes do not carry over to the next semester. No refunds are granted.

I understand that DDA uses email to communicate and share important information, and that it is my responsibility to provide an accurate email address / phone number and update staff if there are any changes.

Photos and Videos
We sometimes take photographs of the children at the DDA and use these images as part of DDA displays and for our website and Twitter page.

If we use photographs of individual pupils, we will not use the name of the child in the accompanying text or photo caption. If a child has won an award and the parent would like the name of their child to accompany their picture we will obtain permission from the parent before using the image.

Historic photographs will remain on our school website and social media feeds. We will not use the personal details or full names (which means first name and surname) of any child or adult in a photographic image or video, on our website, on our social media platforms in our DDA prospectus or in any of our other printed publications.

We may use group or class photographs or footage with very general labels, such as ‘Street Dance Team’ or‘Show Rehearsal’. We will only use images of pupils who are suitably dressed, to reduce the risk of such images being used inappropriately.
